Professional
Professional Members are actively engaged in the profession of interior design or design education. Applicants for Professional Membership must meet one of the following groups of standards:

• Group 1 - Practicing Interior Design Professionals
  Proof of certification date (or test results) by NCIDQ - no other exams are accepted.
• Group 2 - Architects
  Proof of either state architectural registration or documentation of successful completion of NCARB exam, and Documentation (resume or current job description, with dates, acceptable) of minimum of six years practice experience in interior design above and beyond those areas tested by the NCARB exam.

Associate
Associate Members are actively engaged in the profession. Applicants for Associate Membership must meet the education requirements of the NCIDQ exam or equivalent (a two-year certificate in interior design or equivalent educational credits), but have not completed the exam. To qualify, you must provide an official college transcript or diploma (photocopies are acceptable).

Affiliate
Members are actively engaged in a field of expertise that is directly related to the interior design industry (lighting designers, architects not practicing interior design, photographers, etc.). Please include business card.

Industry/Dealers
IIDA Industry Membership offers you a tremendous networking opportunity to promote your product or service to IIDA’s Members. Our Members include approximately 6,000 design professionals in over 30 Chapters worldwide. Annual programs such as Industry Roundtable, Principal’s Roundtable, and the Chapter Leadership Council offer Industry Members opportunities for networking with Interior Designers.

Students
IIDA is the “Future of Design,” and we recognize that no one represents this better than our Student Members. The Association recognizes the influence that new designers have on the profession and targets Student Members with the information and events that will begin a successful career.  As of 2012, student membership runs from January 1 to December 31.
PA/NJ/DE Chapter subsidizes student membership by $20 if applications are submitted through our VP of Student Affairs.  Please send application and $30 to the VP of Student Affairs.

Students Upgrading to Associate
This Membership is available to active IIDA Student Members, who have recently graduated. A special rate and no application fee is offered for the first year as an Associate Member. (A copy of official Diploma or Transcripts will be required upon applying.).

Dues-
IIDA offers payment plans called EZ Pay.   EZ Pay is a payment option that allows you to pay your IIDA Membership dues in easy monthly installments.
