IIDA PA/NJ/DE Chapter Recording Secretary (Volunteer Position) 

The IIDA PA/NJ/DE Chapter Recording Secretary position is open for the 2017-2019 term, beginning July 1, with training to begin immediately. This individual is responsible for scheduling, recording and maintaining a record of all meetings with the IIDA Chapter Board. This includes recording meeting minutes from monthly Chapter Board calls and bi-annual Board Retreats. This role also assists in other general administrative functions to support the Chapter President and board members. This position is a great opportunity for someone interested in getting more involved in the IIDA PA/NJ/DE Chapter and is a great stepping stone to another leadership position with the Chapter Board.

This position is open to all IIDA members located within the PA/NJ/DE Chapter and requires a two year commitment, attendance at a Spring and Fall Board Retreat, and participation in a monthly Chapter Board call. Applicants should be organized, detail-focused and interested in supporting the growth of the IIDA PA/NJ/DE Chapter.

Interior Design Senior Designer (Woodbridge, NJ)

The Senior Designer is primarily a design focused role supporting Ware Malcomb’s Northeast Interior Design region. The Senior Designer candidate must have:
•10+ years of experience designing corporate office, commercial interior and retail projects.
•Strong level of experience in space planning and conceptual and design development skills including the ability to create diversified design concepts, finishes and materials selection, and furniture specifications.
•Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture. CID, NCIDQ or Registered Architect credentials preferred.
•Excellent client and vendor relationships, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple design projects efficiently.
•Experience with the following design software: CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch up and Revit. Knowledge of Grasshopper, Rhino or 3d Max is a plus. Ability to hand sketch desired.

Experience working directly with clients from business development, presentation, negotiation and project completion.

Interior Designer (Philadelphia, PA)

Strada Architecture is seeking an interior designer with 2 to 5 years commercial interiors experience, minimum Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, which is passionate about their work, works well in collaborative, cross-disciplinary team environment, and wants to be challenged. Important skills would include: management skills, collaborative work ethic, communication skills, technical knowledge of materials/furnishings, and a strong design sensibility. A facility with digital design and illustration technologies, including a working knowledge of BIM is a plus.
